When COVID hit and many businesses shifted to remote work, fire system maintenance became even more neglected than before. Now that people are back in the office in many places, business owners should be getting their fire systems checked out and have an up-to-date plan of what employees should do if a fire occurs.

Businesses should also ensure that their property insurance coverage is enough. With inflation and supply chain issues still affecting the marketplace, property insurance plans may not cover as much as they did a few years ago.
