Our special partnership with the SGP Advisors has enabled us to bring together a first-class insurance team specifically to advise plaintiff lawyers. Mr. Jack Compton focuses on the unique needs of contingent-fee lawyers. 

Jack Compton has been with SGP Advisors since 2011 and became a Partner in 2021.

He works exclusively with law firms on a national level, assisting them with the analysis and placement of relevant professional and executive insurance lines. Jack interfaces with clients and maintains intimate relationships with Shea Barclay’s key underwriting partners, both domestic and international insurance companies. He also frequently presents various law firm insurance and risk management topics through the firm’s numerous law firm association affiliations.

Jack is a Tampa native. He is a graduate of Jesuit High School, where he remains active as an alumnus. He is also a graduate of Centre College of Kentucky, where he was a varsity golf team member. Jack is still an avid golfer and proudly serves on the Junior Advisory Board of the First Tee of Tampa Bay.
